About Me:

I am the current President of the 28 NZ Maori Battalion Auckland Association Inc.1959. My Uncle Aylmer Courtney Kenny (D Coy) bears the same name as my Great Grandfather. I was fortunate enough to call some of the old Veterans "Uncle" as they were freinds with my Father (George Carrod How - AKA Huruata) two of these Vets were Arapeta (Peter) Awatere and Taniwha (Sonny) Waru.
