Have piano will travel

This photo is from the collection of Charles Bennet, the YMCA representative who manned the mobile canteen Te Rau Aroha.
It is said that the Fiat truck on which the piano sits was taken from some Italians to cart the piano around. The piano would often provide accompaniment when the Battalion sang hymns like "When the roll is called up yonder".
