At a ceremony held at Te Papaiouru Marae, Ohinemutu, Rotorua, New Zealand, on the 17th of March 2007, the Queen's second son, Prince Andrew, 47, presented Sgt Manahi posthumously with a special citation for bravery, an altar cloth, a letter from the Queen and a sword in recognition of his actions on Takrouna Ridge, Tunisia.
