I was proud to be here on this auspicious day of 2 June 2014 to commemorate the life of my Koro, Corporal Tim Wetini who died on this day in 1944. My timing was just so uncanny that I was unaware of how remarkable and special my visit would prove to be. Arohanui Koro. p.s My bouquet of flowers by my knee, I picked along the streets as my partner and I walked to the cemetry from the town (about 15 mins). As I walked, I thought that it would be nice to take him flowers and if there were familiar flowers like those from home, that would be great. At that moment, I looked down and there in front of me, growing out of the cracks of the pavement was Puha! I kid you not!! So they make up part of my bouquet to my Koro, who has been lying for 70 years, here in Cassino.
