Kia Ora,
I remember Uncle Johnny, I have a portrait of Uncle Johnny and Spadey McCauley in uniform, contact me by email and I will send you a copy by photo,
I am no longer in Aoteaoa, but many fond memories of my mum Huriana Hare and my Dad Renato Poli (Italian) staying with him and Ben Atarau and I getting in trouble at the back of his whare and farm.
