Lower Sollum

Lower Sollum (aka Sollum Bay) below the escarpment on which Sollum Barracks sits. Taken in 1942. The road climbs up the escarpment and then passes the Barracks.
British convoys streaming into Sollum, Libya. This convoy was trying to catch up with the German and Italian forces who were moving westwards.
