Egypt-- A Maori soldier of the New Zealand Forces in Egypt wipes his bayonet after a bloody engagement with Axis Forces near El Alamien. The Maori favours such hand-to-hand fighting and looks on the bayonet as his best friend. The net over his helmet is to hold camouflage material.
