My name is Hinemihi Patara, I am lucky to have both my Mum and Dad with me, Te Tiri Ti O Waitangi & Te Puhi Patara, my dad is currently as of Aug 2009 the Vice President of the 28th Maori Battalion. I live at a little Place called Maketu Bay of Plenty.

I have also added some photo's as of the 8th May 2010 a photo of my dad Te Puhi Patara and three of my Mum's brothers Bill, Sonny and Ray Ihaka. Also my dad is now the President of the 28th Maori Battalion. Kia Ora 9th May 2010 I have just posted a photo of Uncle Hekiheki Wikeepa with the permission of his daughter Ngaro, I have many photo's of some of the 28th Maori Battalion Solider's which I have restored and returned them to their familie's. I well not post them without the familie's permission. I well be posting another photo of Uncle Hekiheki Wikeepa and my Dad Te Puhi Patara taken on Motiti Island. This is the First Ever ANZAC held on the Island which took place on the 25th April 2008. Sadley Uncle Hekiheki passed away on ANZAC DAY 25th April 2009.

Tena koe toku whanaunga Hinemihi, do you know who else served in the 28th Maori Battalion from Pukehina? I am looking for those who are Ngati Whakahemo, or who married into Ngati Whakahemo. My Dad is Hori Tunui Anderson, Paparinga Horne's son.
