My name is Dawn Karetu-Waaka. My father was Pani(Bunny) Karetu, from Waikaremoana, Uruwera region. My mother was Merekara Tunua-Karetu, Ngati Kahungunu/Porou. I live in Flaxmere, Hastings, was born in Waipukurau, and am 6th of 11 siblings of which 5 of us are still living.
