My name is Corinne Thomas and i am 18 years old. My Great Grandfather, Sidney (Rahiri) Thomas, 802266 PTE was part of the 28th Maori Battalion. My uncle, Kevin Thomas, is also a Major in the Australian Army currently serving as the Operations Officer of the Australian Army's 1st Intelligence Battalion and he is the son of Sidney (Rahiri) Thomas. I currently live in Australia and have love the fact that i have found a picture of my Great Grandfather.
