In The Evening Post on Tuesday, 27 May 1941, George R. Bennett is listed as 'Missing' on the longest casualty list of the war so far. It contained the names of 412 members of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force posted as 'Missing' and 23 as 'Wounded'. Click here to view full page.
