Yes you're right and thanks for your comments about our mother.  (Shes getting on now and is always forgetting where she hides her money suffice to say that weeding her garden or setting her bed can be quite profitable.)

 Our father was born in Tauranga of Ngaiterangi descent but was raised in Te Teko.  He fought in the Italian Campaign and I remember he would show off to us kids with his Italian phrases and of course with the song "Buona Notte mi amore" 

The photo was submitted by one of my daughters.
