February 1942 was spent re-equipping and training, the Battalion regaining its vitality. Read the war diary for February 1942 here
Māori Battalion Memorial Community Centre
The Māori Battalion Comminity Hall in Palmerston North. The Raukawa tribal executive commissioned John Scott to prepare plans for the centre in 1954. The centre was opened in June 1964.
