My dad resides at Mary Doyle Residence in Havelock North, Hastings. On 27 April he turned 91 years. He is in reasonable physical health but his memories are not as good as they once were. The whanau often look through his Nga Tamatoa book with him. He enjoys looking at all the photos. My goodness his memories of the 28 soldiers are vivid. He recognises the photographs and is very good with nicknames.
