Jack Tengaio Tamaki who served with D Company and embarked with the 10th Reinforcements. He was from Pirongia and his brother Willy Tamaki and first cousin Boyd Tamaki also served with the Maori Battalion.
Jack died in Italy and is buried at Caserta War Cemetery.
