Hone John Pine Mau

Uncle John Mau. was a prisoner of war..much loved uncle to his sister, Girlie Whakaara Rakete's children. Brother-in-law to TeAni Naera Dan Rakete, a great friend and brother to our dad. Our deceased younger brother was named after this uncle, John Rakete. Uncle is interred at Awaru Urupa, Kirioke, Kaikohe County where his beloved parents and other members of his family lay. Arohanui.. gone but not forgotten..his brother Hoterene Joe Pine Mau was a Home Guardsman.
