Eruera Dennis Hamon - Birth date

As with many young men who joined the Maori Battalion, Eruera Dennis Hamon changed his birth year to ensure entry. He was  born on the 8 February 1920 - not 1918 as he writes on his enlistment record. He is actually only 21 years old when he dies on the 30 November 1941.
