70 years ago this month

February 1942 was spent re-equipping and training, the Battalion regaining its vitality. Read the war diary for February 1942 here

Bill Ihaka is my Mums brother and my dad is Te Puhi Patara the President of the 28th Maori Battalion as of now. I have also added photo's of my mums other brother's Ray and Sonny Ihaka.
