Caricature of T. M. Weepu, 1941 by Arthur Duggan Stalag XVIII-A

Arthur Duggan created caricature drawings of his fellow POWs in Stalag XVIII A - Austria. The original caricature of Private Tangihaere Weepu is in a photograph album containing a series of letters and pictures leading up to the death in 1942 of Arthur Duggan in the camp. The album was in the possession of his daughter, Eileen who died last year.
Eileen's neighbour, Bernard Newton had submitted the caricatures to The Wartime Memories Project website on her behalf when she was alive.
