Hi, I am a grandson of Thomas Karena who served in the 28th Maori Battalion. I also served 27 years in Army in RNZEME and RNZALR. The attached photo is a picture of poppa at a Hui in 1962. I have created a whakapapa on website of our family http://karenafamily.tribalpages.com/.
