'Whakarongo ake rā' (Based on 'Moonlight Bay')
It was common for Māori lyrics to be combined with easy rhythm melodic Western tunes. Whakarongo ake rā (Here we greet you) is based on the melody of Percy Wenrich's Moonlight Bay.
